SO to answer some of your questions....
Buddha used to be a prince (he is a boy....) in Northern India but he wanted to help people so he formed the religion of Buddhism. In Buddhism, there is no God because Buddhists believe that everyone has goodness and kindness inside of them, which is just like the goodness and kindness in other religions' gods. Thanks for your insightful answers to our questions. Our class was thrilled to receive your blog response. The drawing of Ellie the elephant is a great "tease" of things to come. We can't wait to see all of your books.
ReplyDeleteWe're very excited for the visit as well! Our other books are about a Monster named Sticky Hair and and a monkey and a crocodile who become friends! We think you'll love them as well as learn a lot about the teachings of Buddhism.
