We had so much fun visiting the high school and spending time with our buddies. Mrs. Armstrong and Mrs. Cassamassino have taught us all about scenes and how to use the iPad to illustrate different scenes. Yesterday we used Wixie to draw our favorite part about our visit to Bedford High School. Some of our pictures are below.  We can't wait for you to come visit us in a couple of weeks!

Hello!

We hope that you all had a nice Halloween!  In class, we learned about the origins of Halloween.  Halloween dates back to over 2,000 years ago, and you have the Celts to thank for all the fun Halloween festivities.
 A few weeks ago we had spirit week in preparation for our pep rally.  The week was filled with fun costumes and lots of school spirit.  We are looking forward to telling you more about spirit week and many more things about Bedford High School in our Google Hangout!

Christian Bostrup

Hi, my name is Christian Bostrup from team seedling. I am 18 years old and I’m a senior at Bedford High School. I love watching movies, listening to music, playing video games, reading, and skiing in the winter. I’ve got two brothers, one older and one younger which makes me the middle child. I also have a dog named Elliot. My favorite subject is history and i’m terrible at math and science. I’m really looking forward to meeting you guys next month!

Johnny Kiernan

Hi, my name is Johnny Kiernan! I am 18 years old and am on TEAM SEEDLINGS. I love to play sports, especially tennis, skiing, and soccer. I love to climb mountains, run marathons, and play frisbee. I have two brothers and two sisters. My oldest sister lives in Nashville, Tennessee! My little brother is 14 years old. My favorite t.v. show is Hawaii Five O. I hope to go to school in Alabama. Hi, my name is Allie. I am on “Team Wormz.” I am a senior here at Bedford High School and I am 17 years old. I am a crew coxswain for the Bedford Crew team at the school. I have an older brother in college, and two dogs at home. Daniel Cookson

Hi my name is Daniel Cookson, I am a junior at Bedford High School and I am 16 years old.  I was in Mrs. Armstrongs class for second grade and she was one of my favorite teachers. My hobbies include playing tennis and eating food when I don’t have anything else to do. I have a puppy named Lily who has a hyperactivity problem but is nonetheless really cute.

Hi! My name is Josephine but you can call me Jo. I'm a proud member of team Ruby! I am a 17 year old senior at the high school. I’m Alex! I’m a senior here at BHS and I’m really excited to be working with you guys during this unit.  I really enjoy doing hair and makeup and I like to cheer also.  My favorite animals are puppies, because they are really cute and fun to be around. Hi my name is Emily! I am 17 years old and am a senior at Bedford High School I play a lot of sports! In the fall, play field hockey, in the winter, I run indoor track, and in the spring I play lacrosse! I have three younger brothers, one is a sophomore at the high school and the other two are twins in seventh grade at Lurgio! My favorite food to eat is a burger and I love to drink lemonade. I am also a member of Team Seedlings!

Rachel Philbrick

Hi! My name is Rachel, I am a senior at Bedford High School and am 17 years old.  I have played on the varsity soccer team throughout high school. I also participated in varsity track my freshman and sophomore years. I love adventuring and froyo (frozen yogurt). I have a 22 year old sister and a 21 year old brother. I also have a black lab named Zuulie, and an orange cat named sunny. I am also a member of team Meow!

Hello! My name is Kayleigh! I am a part of Team Meow. I am 17 years old and I’m a senior at Bedford High School. I am a Varsity Cheerleader and have been since freshman year.I love adventuring, I love pickles, and I love puppies. I have an older brother who is 21 years old and goes to college at UNH. I was born in Boston but I moved to Bedford in kindergarten, during which I attended Peter Woodbury School. I live with my parents and two little sisters, ages 16 and 10. My main hobby is music, which I enjoy both listening to and playing. My favorite artist is the Beatles, and I play guitar and bass.

Hello First Graders!

We are very excited to be working with you over the next few months!  Our class split up into five groups and wrote plays that you will get to learn and perform when you come to the high school.  These plays are called Jataka Tales.  Jataka Tales are stories that are used in religions to teach children different values within the religion.  We will be learning Buddhist Jataka Tales.  We can't wait to teach you about different Buddhist values through the five Jataka Tales we have prepared!

Each Jataka Tale was written by a group of four to six students.  Each group's tale tells a different story.  Here are the Jataka Tale groups:
