Dear Kaitlyn and Sammi, Rama does not have any magical powers but he is the reincarnation of a Hindu god named Vishnu. He has blue skin because he fell into the ocean at birth and was consumed by it. Sita had to jump into the firs after leaving into the woods to prove to Rama that she was still pure.
